Join us for a discussion about discipleship which sadly for the church in America is the lost art of making life-long followers of Jesus Christ. You’ll be a part of an important and entertaining dialogue with a group of men who have been bonded deeply through their shared experiences over the past 4 decades on this journey. Football was the context into which these men were called by the gospel. But it was the intentional spiritual training that Hollis Haff (Discipleship Pastor at NCC) provided and the “iron sharpening” of spiritual brothers that represented the pathway to maturity in Christ and a life of “reproducing.” Tunch Ilkin (Men’s Pastor – The Bible Chapel) Jon Kolb (Exec. Director ATP) and Leo Wisniewski (Director Locking Arms Men) will be sharing what has been most impactful in discipleship for them.
If you are a man involved in discipling other men and need some additional equipping and encouragement, this event is for you. If you recognize you are missing something as a Christian, not yet whole-hearted about Christ’s command and promise.. “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” This night is for you as well. This will be a valuable equipping event for men’s leaders and aspiring men’s leaders. There is no cost and there will be pizza and refreshments served.
