Join us for our Locking Arms Retreat at Ligonier Camp & Conference Center November 1-3. We are very excited to be going back to Ligonier with its great facilities: Zip Line, Climbing Wall, Laser Tag, and spectacular trails for hiking and mountain biking. We are featuring a few of our veteran speakers and a few relatively new brothers you may not know. Our lineup includes: Steelers 4X SB Champ Jon Kolb (www.adventurestraining.org) , brother Kim Costanza (www.delreyministries.org), Matt Geppert (www.seapc.org), and Evangelist Fernando Decarvalho (www.sosadventure.org). Two Nights includes: 5 meals and a Locking Arms t-shirt for $125. One Night includes: 4 meals and a t-shirt for $90. We love to see fathers/sons join us so we will offer scholarships to sons. Mentees who attend with their mentors are also free!
Our theme is The Beautiful & Awesome Glory of God. Our theme verse comes from the prophet Isaiah when he cried out at seeing the heavenly vision, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” (Isaiah 6:3). We see the glory of God everywhere in his creation; in the vast expanse of a universe of over 80 billion galaxies and in the miracle of a baby’s formation in the womb. We see it in the gospel; for there the glory of God in Christ is fully revealed. We also see it in Jesus bride the church. And God has commanded the glory of God in the face of Christ to shine in our hearts (2 Corinthians 4:6-7). John Piper has said that “The glory of God is the manifest beauty of his holiness. It is the going-public of his holiness. It is the way he puts his holiness on display for people to apprehend. So, the glory of God is the holiness of God made manifest.” Our four session speakers will be developing our theme for us.
